Whiskers brings handmade wool cat caves and toys to New Zealand homes. Everything is felted from 100% New Zealand sheep wool by skilled artisans in Nepal.
How it’s made
New Zealand wool, felted by hand in Nepal
Each cave and toy begins as 100% New Zealand sheep wool. Skilled artisans in Nepal turn it into felt using wet-felting: working the wool fibres with water and soap until they bond into a dense, seamless shape.
There are no shortcuts. Because every piece is made by hand, sizes and details vary slightly, and colours can differ a little from the photos. That’s part of what makes each one yours.
